My dear father,

I am writing to you today to share a recent unfortunate incident that I experienced. It happened two days ago when myself and two friends, Meena and Susan, decided to go shopping at the local market.

The market was bustling with activity, being a holiday, and we ventured into various shops to buy some odds and ends. At one point, Meena suggested we visit a new dress shop, where Susan found a dress she liked and purchased it. As we continued to stroll through the market, I suddenly felt a push from behind. Before I could react, someone snatched my bag and swiftly ran off. I cried out for help, but despite some people attempting to chase after the thief, he disappeared into the crowd.

I was left feeling distraught. My bag contained important items such as my room key, identity card, valuable belongings, and all my money. We reported the incident to the market authorities, but unfortunately, it seemed to fall on deaf ears. Eventually, we returned to the hostel, where Meena and Susan tried to comfort me in my disappointment.

This bitter experience continues to haunt me. I can't shake the feeling of being constantly watched by unknown individuals. I hope for better days ahead.

Please give my regards to mother.

Yours always,

Tahseen

My dear father,

Today I am writing you about a bitter experience I have recently had. It was the day before yesterday. We three friends went shopping to the local market. And then the mishap took place.

It was three days ago. I along with my two friends named Meena and Susan went to market to do some shopping. The market was very crowded, as it was a holiday. However, we visited different shops for buying nick-nacks. Then Meena led us to a new shop of dresses. There Susan bought a new dress. So we went out. We were roaming around the market. All on a sudden I was being pushed. Before turning back my bag was snatched by someone who ran off quickly. I shouted, “Mugger! Mugger!” Some people tried to run after him. But very soon the mugger was lost in the crowd. I was upset. The room key, identity card, some useful things and all my money were in the bag. We lodged complaint towards the market authority. But who cares? At last we came back to the hostel. Meena and Susan were also disappointed. They tried to console me. This bitter experience still haunts me. I feel that I am always being watched by somebody unknown. This is all for today. Pray for me.

Regards to you and mother.

Yours ever,

Tahseen
