With due respect, I would like to draw your kind attention on the following fact that ours is a big industrial area in the country. There are different types of big and small industries in this area. But as ill luck would have it, life of our locality is frequently paralyzed due to the failure of electric supply. These are the days of schools and colleges. The students find it difficult at night at the time of electricity failure. Moreover, when there is darkness all around, thieves, and anti-social people set the opportunity to indulge themselves in different anti-social activities. After the evening the paths and roads are crowed of local drug sellers, drug addicted people, muggers, and out-laws. Common people can not go outside of home as well can not expect to come back home safely at home in this situation. Indeed, they can not go against them directly.

We have repeatedly complained to the local thana office, but they seem to sleep over there, but of no use. It seems that they do not want to pay any attention.

We, therefore, draw the attention of you to look into the matter and take necessary steps to abolish anti social activities in our locality.

Activities of Anti-socials

Ward No. 39 of Chittagong Municipality lies secluded in a remote corner of the town, making it a hotspot for anti-social activities. Theft and robbery have become commonplace occurrences in this area, with hardly a night passing without such incidents. After sunset, pedestrians are frequently targeted by muggers and hooligans. The entire area is under the sway of hardened criminals, who engage in brazen acts of violence like killings and hijackings during daylight hours. There seems to be no one capable of challenging their reign of terror. As a result, residents live in a constant state of fear, unable to enjoy even a moment of peace. The pervasive threat of criminal activities has left the community in a perpetual state of anxiety, with many enduring sleepless nights.

Given the gravity of the situation, it is imperative for the government to take proactive measures to ensure the safety of its citizens. Law enforcement agencies must step up their efforts to maintain law and order in the area. It is my sincere hope that the concerned authorities will address this pressing issue with the urgency it demands.

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter on behalf of the residents of Kamal Kasna, Rangpur, to express our deep concern about the growing number of antisocial incidents taking place in our locality. Kamal Kasna has always been known as a peaceful and friendly neighborhood, but lately, the situation has taken a disturbing turn.

Over the past few weeks, a group of miscreants has been gathering near tea stalls, particularly around the main entrance of our residential area. These individuals are frequently seen consuming illegal substances in public and engaging in unruly behaviour. What is more alarming is their habit of harassing women and young girls passing by. Many local residents have also reported incidents of mugging and intimidation, especially during the evening hours.

Their presence is not only creating fear and discomfort among the residents but also damaging the image and harmony of our community. Students are afraid to go out, and women feel unsafe walking alone in the neighborhood. Despite repeated warnings from the locals, their activities continue unchecked.

We sincerely request you to deploy patrolling teams in the area and take strict action against those involved in such unlawful behaviour. Immediate intervention is essential to restore peace and ensure the safety of our community.

We believe your timely action will help eliminate these threats and allow the people of Kamal Kasna to live in peace once again.
