I’m pleased you’ve asked me this question because I’m an avid reader. The book I’d like to talk about is Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. It was written by JK Rowling... I’m not entirely sure when, but I guess it was in the last decade. The book is the first novel in a series and these novels have been turned into movies.

The protagonist is Harry Potter and the other main characters in the book are Hermione and Ron. The plot is basically about a boy who learns on his eleventh birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses unique magical powers of his own. He is taken away from his life as an unwanted child to become a student at Hogwarts, an English boarding school for wizards. There, he meets several other boarders who become his closest allies and help him discover the truth about his parents' mysterious deaths.

The reason why I read this book was that it was recommended to me by my best friend. We tend to have similar tastes in literature, therefore, I was eager to read it after her recommendation.

Personally, I found it an incredibly delightful book to read and I loved the twist at the end. In addition, I enjoyed the setting of the book in a magical school. The author clearly has a vivid imagination and I highly recommend it.

One of the most exciting books I have read is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling. Although I’m not precisely sure of the publication date, I believe it was released in the last decade. This book is the inaugural novel in the immensely popular Harry Potter series, which has since been adapted into a successful film franchise.

I decided to read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone because it came highly recommended by my best friend. We share similar tastes in literature, so I trusted her judgment and was eager to delve into the book after hearing her enthusiastic endorsement.

I found the book exceptionally thrilling for several reasons. Firstly, J.K. Rowling’s imaginative world-building created a captivating and immersive experience. The magical setting of Hogwarts, with its enchanting spells and mythical creatures, was utterly spellbinding. The narrative was filled with intriguing twists and turns, and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat, especially with the surprising twist at the end. Rowling’s ability to blend magical fantasy with relatable characters made the book not only exciting but also deeply engaging. The blend of adventure, mystery, and the discovery of one's identity makes it an unforgettable read, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a magical journey.
