I’m so pleased I’ve got this topic because I’m fascinated by architecture and houses. If I had a dream house, it would be located near Lake Garda in northern Italy. This is one of my favourite places in the world because of the cuisine, climate and beautiful scenery.

In terms of size, I wouldn’t want a massive house, but just big enough to accommodate me and my family and a few guests. Obviously, it would have a swimming pool. Ideally, I’d love an infinity pool. That is a pool that looks like it is falling off the edge and is merging with the sky. I would love a view of the stunningly beautiful lake from the property so I could sit out on the patio and look at the water. I find looking at water incredibly relaxing so this patio with tables, chairs and sun beds would be a place where I could chill out.

In addition, there would be a lawn with lots of mature trees. I’m not green-fingered so I wouldn’t want lots of flowers, a low-maintenance garden would be perfect. I would like the outdoor space to be filled with lights so that at night we could use it for entertaining. Oh, yes, I nearly forgot, it absolutely must have a pizza oven. I would love to be able to make my own pizzas and serve them to my guests.

Finally, I would like the house to have a homely feel. That means that everyone who visits feels at home because it would be welcoming and comfortable. To be honest, I don’t know how I’m going to get it, I think the only way is to marry a millionaire!

I envision living in an expansive mansion nestled in the tranquil countryside. Ideally, this grand estate would be situated a bit away from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet still within a reasonable distance from a major city, providing me with the best of both worlds—serenity and accessibility.

The mansion would boast numerous bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom, allowing ample space for family and friends to visit, especially during the summer. The architecture would blend classic elegance with modern amenities, featuring large windows that allow natural light to flood the interior and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The house would be surrounded by vast grounds, perfect for leisure activities such as horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, and scenic hikes around the estate.

A significant aspect of this dream home would be its proximity to a river or a large lake. This would not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also offer opportunities for peaceful reflection and recreation. The mansion itself would be decorated with an abundance of paintings and indoor plants, reflecting my love for color and nature. Additionally, I envision having a spacious kitchen garden where I could cultivate my own fruits and vegetables, making farm-to-table dining a delightful routine.

When it comes to managing such a large home, I’d likely employ a cleaner who could potentially live with us if they wished. This would ensure that the mansion remains pristine without adding undue stress to my daily life.

I would love to move into this dream mansion when I get married and start a family. The space and environment would be ideal for raising children and creating lasting memories with loved ones. Overall, the combination of a picturesque countryside setting, luxurious features, and practical conveniences makes this mansion an ideal place for me to live and thrive.

I’m thrilled to discuss my dream home because I have a deep interest in architecture and interior design. If I could design my perfect house, it would be situated near Lake Garda in northern Italy. The house itself would be modest in size, just spacious enough to comfortably accommodate my family and a few guests. I envision it having an infinity pool—an exquisite type of pool that appears to merge seamlessly with the sky, giving the illusion that it’s spilling over the edge of the property. From this pool, I would have a spectacular view of the lake. I find water views incredibly soothing, so I’d love to spend time on the patio, which would be furnished with tables, chairs, and sunbeds, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.

The garden would feature a well-maintained lawn with mature trees, avoiding the need for excessive gardening. Since I’m not particularly green-fingered, I’d prefer a low-maintenance space. As for how I plan to achieve this dream, I’m not entirely sure. Realistically, I think the only feasible way to realize this dream is to marry a millionaire! Jokes aside, I would need to work diligently, save money, and maybe invest in real estate or pursue a career in architecture to get closer to making this dream a reality.
