My dear Arif,

I hope this letter finds you well. I recently received your letter, and I must say, we missed you greatly at my birthday party. Nevertheless, I'm excited to share with you how the day unfolded.

In the morning, Raju and Sohel assisted me in decorating our house with colorful festoons and other decorative items. Meanwhile, Father had arranged for a beautiful birthday cake and surprised me with a new outfit for the occasion.

By 5 o'clock in the evening, the much-awaited birthday cake arrived, and I had already dressed in my new attire. Mother had prepared an array of delicious dishes to delight our guests. As the clock struck 6, our guests began to arrive, and by 7, everyone had gathered.

Amidst cheerful chatter, I lit the candles on the cake and joyfully cut it, amidst the applause of friends, family, and well-wishers. Following this, we enjoyed a hearty meal together, relishing the delicious food prepared by Mother.

After the meal, we organized a short cultural program, which added to the festive atmosphere. As the evening drew to a close, our guests bid farewell, showering me with warm wishes for the year ahead.

While the celebration was filled with joy and merriment, it was not quite the same without your presence. Your absence was keenly felt, and I couldn't help but imagine how much more enjoyable it would have been with you by our side.

My dear Arif,

In your last letter I have come to know the reason of your not attending my birthday party. We all missed you very much. However, you wanted to know how we passed the day. Now let me give you the brief about the party.

On the day our house was decorated nicely with different festoons and other decorative things. Raju and Sohel helped me in this regard in the morning. Father had ordered a birthday cake before and bought me a new dress for the occasion.

The birthday cake which was the main attraction of the party arrived by 5 o’clock. Meanwhile I had also put on my new dress. Mother prepared some delicious dishes. From 6 o’clock in the evening the guests started to come one after one. All the invited guests arrived. It was 7 o’clock. I lighted the candle, cut the cake chuckling merrily. Then the applause of friends, fans and well-wishers followed it. Next the prepared delicious food was served to the guests. Everybody fell to with a good deal of zest. Thereafter, all joining it felt interested to do something pleasant. So, a short cultural programme was arranged after the meal. Finally, the guests left wishing me many happy returns of the day. Thus the celebration of my birthday party came to an end with joy and merriment. But again I have to say that if you were amongst us, it would be more enjoyable. This is all for today.
