My Dear Anu,
I have just received your letter. You wanted to know how we celebrated the victory day in our school. As this is a red letter day in the history of Bangladesh, we observed the day in a gorgeous manner.
At first we decorated our school premises nicely with various types of coloured papers, balloons and leaves. It was started at 8.00 a.m. The national flag was hoisted by our honourable Headmaster. We all saluted the flag. Then we sang our National Anthem at 8.15 a.m. A day long programme was there including sports and games, discussions, meetings and cultural programme. As the general secretary of school, I had to conduct the function from beginning to end. I believe, I was successful in performing all sides of the function. At 5.00 p.m. the function came to an end. In short, we observed the day up to our full satisfaction.
No more today. I am so so. I wish you a happy and prosperous life. With best regards to your parents and love to you all.
This is all for today. Hope to hear from you regarding this. With love and best wishes.
Yours ever,
Tahseen

My Dear Anu,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. You asked about how we celebrated Victory Day at our school, and I’m thrilled to share the details with you. It was a day filled with pride, joy, and remembrance.
Our school organized a special program to honor the sacrifices of those who fought for our independence in 1971. The day started with a flag-raising ceremony, where our principal hoisted the national flag while we sang the national anthem in unison. It was a moving moment, and I felt deeply proud to be a Bangladeshi.
After that, there was a cultural function in the school auditorium. Students performed patriotic songs, dances, and recitations. One of the highlights was a drama depicting the struggles and heroism of the freedom fighters. The performances were so touching that many of us had tears in our eyes.
We also had a speech competition where students shared their thoughts on the significance of Victory Day. It was inspiring to hear how everyone expressed their love for our country and their hopes for its future. I even participated and spoke about the bravery of the martyrs, which earned me a lot of appreciation from my teachers.
The day ended with a quiz competition on the history of our Liberation War, and the winners received books as prizes. Overall, the celebration reminded us of our nation’s glorious history and the value of our hard-earned freedom.
I wish you could have been there to witness it all. Let me know how you spent the day.
Take care and write back soon!
Warm regards,
Tahseen

Dear Anu,
I got your letter and you asked about how we celebrated Victory Day at our school. It's a big day for Bangladesh, so we made sure to mark it in a special way.
First, we made our school look nice by decorating it with colorful papers, balloons, and leaves. We started at 8:00 a.m. Our Headmaster raised the national flag, and we all saluted it. Then, at 8:15 a.m., we sang our National Anthem. The day was packed with activities like sports, games, discussions, meetings, and cultural performances. As the school's general secretary, I had to lead the event from start to finish. I think I did a good job managing everything. The event ended around 5:00 p.m., and overall, we were happy with how the day went.
That's all for now. I'm doing okay. I hope you and your family are doing well. Take care.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Sending you lots of love and best wishes.
Yours always,
Tahseen
