Dear Rony,

I was thrilled to receive your letter yesterday, and I'm eager to share with you a glimpse into my daily routine.

My day typically begins bright and early in the morning. I start by engaging in some physical exercise to invigorate my body, followed by a refreshing wash. After attending to my morning rituals, I sit down for a hearty breakfast to fuel my day ahead. Then, it's time to hit the books and prepare for school. I ensure that I have all the necessary materials ready before setting off for the day.

Once at school, I immerse myself in my studies, paying close attention to the lessons imparted by my teachers. I also make it a point to spend some time in the school library, expanding my knowledge and exploring new topics.

After school, I like to unwind by spending time in my garden or engaging in indoor games like carom or chess. A quick refreshment break follows, after which I eagerly await my private tutor's arrival. During these sessions, I focus intently on absorbing new information and clarifying any doubts I may have.

Once my tutoring session concludes, I take a brief respite before diving back into my studies. I diligently complete my homework assignments and prepare for the following day's lessons. Occasionally, I indulge in watching television programs that pique my interest.

As the day winds down, I enjoy a wholesome supper around 10:30 p.m. before retiring to bed promptly at 11:30 p.m. This structured routine forms the backbone of my daily life, ensuring productivity and balance throughout the week.

On weekends and holidays, I seize the opportunity to visit relatives, pursue my passion for painting, or lose myself in the pages of a good book.

I hope this overview provides you with insight into my daily life and routines. Please do share your own experiences—I'm eager to hear about your day-to-day activities as well.

With warm regards,

Tahseen

Dear Rifat

This is many days since you wrote to me. I am highly eager to let you know about a visit to a fair in our village, which I have recently made. You know that the last few days were the vacation of autumn. So I went to visit my native village. There I along with my cousin went to a village fair. Indeed it was an amazing experience.

The fair was full of din and bustle. Immense crowds were making their way towards the fair. The fair was held over the open space around the shrine of a Muslim saint.

There were long rows of booths with broad passages between. In these booths were displayed almost all sorts of things; toys, cosmetics, knives, whistles, earthen wares, brass wares, fruits and sweets. It seemed to be a kind of exhibition in miniature of cottage industries. The rural artisans and craftsmen brought their handmade articles to the fair.

Different forms of amusements were also accommodated to provide a happy diversion to the rural people. ‘Travelling jatra parties’, ‘Nagar- dolas’ ‘Circus parties’ etc were showing their feats and performances. A magician too was found under a small tent ready to show his tricks to the people against small sum. But the largest crowd gathered around the place where jugglers exhibited their feats. After visiting the fair I realised that the fair really inspired the skilled hands of cottage industries and helped the farmers by building their economy. It was a means of recreation, change and social get-together of the village people.

The experience of visiting the fair is really engraved in my heart for long. That’s all for today. Hope to hear from you. With best wishes.

Yours ever,

Halim

My dear Masum,

Thank you very much for your kind letter. I hope you're doing well, and I'm glad to say that I'm also well. Now, let me tell you about a village fair that I recently visited.

Our village is quite old and large. Every year, during the occasions of Pahela Baishakh or Durgapuja, a fair is held under a big banyan tree in our village. This time, there was a week-long fair organized for Durgapuja. I went to the fair with my grandfather.

When we arrived, we saw hundreds of decorated temporary shops lined up in rows. Rural artisans like potters, weavers, carpenters, and artists displayed and sold their handmade products at the fair. Additionally, there were many fancy items such as jute handicrafts, dolls, toys, kites, bangles, ribbons, and small wooden furniture.

The circus performances, doll dances, magic shows, and cockfights were the main attractions of the fair. I especially enjoyed watching the cockfight, and it drew a large crowd of people of all ages, particularly children.

I bought a wooden stick for my grandmother before we headed back home before sunset. Village fairs hold great value as they provide entertainment for rural folks, breaking the monotony of their daily chores, lifting their spirits, and broadening their horizons. They also contribute to the village economy.

I make it a point to visit the village fair every year. That's all for today. Sending you my best wishes.

Yours truly,

Rocky
