Dear ‘Siam’,
I have received your letter of the 5th instant. In it you wanted to know about my recent visit to a historical place. Here is a short description of the same.
You know that we went to Sonargaon for our visit. We were about thirty-five in number including one of our teachers. We reached there by bus at 9 a.m. with all necessary utensils and materials. After reaching Sonargaon, we finished our breakfast by 9.30 a.m. We had a cook with us. He became busy with cooking. We helped him in different works. Some were cooking, some were singing, some were cutting jokes and others were playing different types of games. At about 2 p.m. the lunch was ready. By this time all of us became very hungry. All of us took our lunch with full appetite. After lunch we went out for sight seeing. You know, Sonargaon is a place of historical interest. It was once the capital of Bengal. The museum of Sonargaon charmed us most. We started for home at 5 p.m. after taking our tea.
We enjoyed the visit most and the day will always be remembered. What a pleasure it would be if you were in the midst of us! Really, we missed you very much. This is all for today. With love and best wishes.
Yours ever
Tahseen

Dear Habib
No letter from you for a long time. A few days ago I visited the most famous Shat Gambuj mosque in Bagerhat. It is a place of historical interest in Bangladesh. I want to let you know a brief account of it.
By train I reached Bagerhat. I hired a rickshaw and went to visit the Shat Gambuj mosque. It was built in 1440 by Khan Jahan Ali, a preacher of Islam. It stands on sixty pillars. It has 77 domes instead of 60 domes. The inside walls are very thick and flowers are painted on it. It is a work of great art and engineering skill of the period. I also visited the large tanks known as Dargadighi and Ghoradighi near the mosque. I was wondered at the sight of all these activities of human beings in the days long past.
I hope you will make frequent visits to such kind of places. You will be benefited much.
No more today. Please write to me soon. With love.
Sincerely yours,
Habiba

My dear Raju,
Your letter of the 15th instant is to hand. In it you have told me something about your recent visit to Khan Jahan Ali’s Dargah and the Satgambuj Mosque near Bagerhat. Today I am telling you something about my recent visit to Mainamati.
Mainamati is situated about six miles due west of Comilla. The relics of an ancient Buddhist civilization have been discovered here. Only a part of the entire site is called the Shalban Vihar. The remains of the Buddhist monastery have been dug out alone with a central shrine. Many valuable articles of use have also been discovered in the ruins.
History tells us that a new royal dynasty called the Chanda dynasty rose after the fall of the Palas. They ruled over the south-eastern Bengal between the 9th and the 11th century. They had their capital at Rohitgiri.
Mainamati is really a site of great historical interest. I want to pay a second visit to Mainamati together with you in the next winter holidays.
No more today. With love and best wishes to you.
Yours ever,
Tahseen

My dear Belal.
Thanks a lot from the core of heart for your sweet note. Hope you are well. I am also well with my family. You are curious to know about my recent visit to a historical place. Now I am giving you a brief account of it.
Visiting an historical place has a great importance in student life. Only by reading books a student can not widen his kingdom of knowledge to face the battle of life successfully. I am a student of class xii and very curious to visit any historical place to acquire a new experience and knowledge which will help me to overcome any challenges easily. During the last winter vacation I visited Dhaka which is one of the biggest historical cities in the world. I went to visit Dhaka by train with my father who is a Headmaster of a secondary school in our Upazila. I have visited Dhaka University, Jaganath University, the Sangsad Bhaban, the National Museum. the National Zoo, the National Memorial at Savar, the Dhaka High Court, the Shishu Park, the Lalbag Fort- the Ramna Park, the Shahs Mosque, the Tara Mosque, the Ahsan Manjil and many other historical places. I have earned a lot of new experience which will help me to prosper in life. I believe that every student should visit a historical place every year to make life successful.
No more today.
With my best wishes to you.
Yours ever,
Jabeyer.

My dear Rubu,
I just got back from a trip to Dhaka, and I wanted to tell you about it.
Dhaka is a really old city. It was established by Islam Khan during the time of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Now, it's the capital of Bangladesh and it's situated on the Buriganga River. There are many ancient places to see there.
First, I visited the Lalbagh Fort, which sits on the bank of the Buriganga River. It was built by Md. Azam Shah, the Subedar of Bengal and the third son of Emperor Aurangazeb, back in 1678. Originally, it was called "Kila Aurangabad," but it's commonly known as Lalbagh Fort now. Later, Shaesta Khan, another Subedar of Bengal, made it even more grand. The fort is surrounded by big walls and has the graves of Shaesta Khan's daughter Bibi Pari, a mosque, and a bathhouse (hamamkhana). It's about 2000 feet long from east to west and 800 feet wide from north to south. The main gate, which is three stories tall and beautifully decorated with Mughal architecture, is on the southern wall. There are also smaller gates on the other walls. The walls themselves are made of thin red bricks.
During my trip, I also visited some other important places like the National Museum, Sangsad Bhaban, Mirpur Zoo, Botanical Garden, and Dhaka Stadium. I had a great time exploring Dhaka, and I think you should visit there too when you have some free time.
Sending love to you and regards to your parents.
Yours always,
Rocky

My dearest Alamgir,
I am grateful for your sweet note and I am pleased to inform you that my studies are going well. Today, I want to share with you about the recent excursion that we took from our school to Bagerhat, a historical place in Bangladesh.
To get there, we took a train and upon arrival, I hired a rickshaw to take me to the Shat Gambuj Mosque. During our visit to this historic site, we learned about many interesting things. The mosque was constructed in 1440 by Khan Jahan Ali, an Islamic preacher. The mosque is very large, and its architecture is adorned with terracotta flowers, foliage, and plain designs. It stands on sixty pillars, but it was initially meant to have 77 domes instead of 60. The inside walls are quite thick and adorned with floral paintings, showcasing great artistic and engineering skills of that period. There is also a prayer house, which is exquisitely decorated. While there, I also visited the largest tanks in the area, known as Dargadighi and Ghoradighi, which were equally impressive. Witnessing these remarkable feats of human activity from the past left me in awe.
I am confident that my account of the trip has piqued your interest and that you may consider visiting the site someday. No more for today. Please write back soon.
With love and affection,
Javid
