Your letter reached timely. After my arrival from Singapore, I got it. I think you know I won the Lucky Coupon Draw of visiting to Singapore. As per schedule I visited Singapore. It was a new experience for me to visit abroad. Today I am going to give you a brief idea about my recent visit.
Singapore is one of the cleanest and safest cities in the world. It is both a city and a state. There is only one airport in Singapore. It is one of the few places of the world where people celebrate New Year three times. They have the Chinese New Year, the Muslim New Year as well as the Christian New Year as the Western one. It is a multi-cultural and multi-religious state. I happened to meet different types of people. There are hotels in almost every street. Of all the hotels, one of the finest one is Raffles. It is a legendary resort for writers, scholars, celebrities and royalty. It is a tourist friendly state. It is in fact a heaven for the tourists. There are opportunities of making safari tour for the tourists. Some six million visitors come to Singapore every year. It is a shoppers’ heaven too. People who love food can taste both local as well as foreign cuisine. The people of Singapore are very well housed. They have a free health service for all and the most interesting thing that many countries would envy is that there is almost no unemployment problem in Singapore.
I really enjoyed the visit whole heartedly. The journey will have a lasting impression on my mind.
